Tried something similar for detailing cars. When you try to put a little pressure on the work surface with a buffer or even a towel...you roll away. you can lock 2 of the wheels but then you're always fighting to get it in the right position, locking, unlocking... Sold it at garage sale for 10 bucks.

Where would I use this? I get the utility of a regular creeper but why use this over a regular stool and getting up to reposition it?

These are great for doing work around tires and brakes. Having your tools ready underneath is a huge plus. Really beats kneeling or crouching.

Nice. I was looking for one of these the other day. I recently installed a lift in my shop and I was crouching under the lift while doing something and I was thinking a creeper sure would make this easier. I got 2 so I can have them on both sides of my lift.

For average homeowners that don't do much work on their vehicles probably not worth it. But it's a life saver for those who work on vehicles a lot.

So if you're doing your own oil change only, creeper is sufficient.
