That Best Buy link shows as 16 GB not 32GB - almost ordered it.....
That's for 16 gb, not 32.
Lol. That actually happened to me. I keep old machines going A Long Time....

Had some defective sticks, Corsair DDR3/DDR2? for this old Intel Ark machine I use for media. Corsair couldn't replace them because they no longer had any.

Corsair offered to ship me something else in exchange.
Wth, Corsair stood by their warranty even though they no longer had them. I guess buy Corsair.

Not awful, last month I bought the same for $80. Daughter's PC had 2x8gb + 2 of those non-ram light enhancement sticks in an AM4 board. PC was built when RAM was stupid expensive (2018-2019?) , especially for these. 11 in stock here in Columbus. Can confirm price dropped after signing in.

She could have limped by with what she had but can't be bothered with closing down things she is not actively using. She ended up paying for them not me. ๐Ÿ˜†

When I originally saw this price (especially being DDR4), I was like "meh". And not knocking DDR4 (currently all of my desktop gaming/server systems at home - 4 in total - are all rocking DDR4 and doing great), but I purchased this same set a few years back and thought I got it for close to this price then.

But I went back through my previous purchases and saw I actually paid more than twice this back then and even now it's about $80 on Best Buy. So this is a pretty good deal! I really wish I had need for another set right now or else I would grab this having a Microcenter near me.

I have this pair from 2020, was wondering if they are the same as MC https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GTG2T7L - thanks.
- updated: chatted w the Corsair rep, they said these would work but not recommended. Pass.

I have another pair also cl16 but the timing is a bit better. I read it'll run at the slower speed on the pair. Anyone know if there are other reasons not to run matching pairs?

they prolly won't match. even with items with the same part number, there could be different versions which mean different memory chip manufacturers. so, unless the version number is similar 3.xx and 3.xy and not 3.xx and 5.xy, it should work with same top part number. it's dumb, but ask me how many sets of the same p/n i had to buy to get 2 sets that worked together at the rated speed.

this one is $48
https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-VE...B07RW6Z692

Is it the RGB in OP listing that makes it $12 more expensive?

"Lifetime Limited Warranty"

in some time they will stop making DDR4. what happens to the warranty after they stop making these sticks?

Yeah pretty much. I think G Skill may make/sell more memory than corsair white gloves, but it's the same spec. Might even be the same chips.
