As someone who exclusively plays on my Steam Deck OLED on my daily train commute and on the airplane when I travel for work this a hard no. Otherwise it's an amazing game and brings back so many childhood memories.

EDIT: forgot about the always-online, which is always a real chub snuffer.
$10 is a better price.

The biggest difference aside from the visual upgrade is that they for some reason eliminated the animation of you getting back on your board. Now you instead just kinda teleport back on, which I do not like. I imagine this was done because the animation to mount your deck took up too much of the precious two minute timer, but who knows.
Additionally, I didn't know or forgot about the always-online connection needed to play. That definitely sucks and makes the price feel a little steep.
I downgrade my recommended price to $10.00.

Put in many hours in this on my Steam Deck, feels and sounds much like the originals and my kids love it too. Wasn't aware of the always-on since I've really only played on SD LCD.
