The 'issue' with these is that they don't have drive wheels - their 'self propelled' claim comes from the auger sorta pulling the unit along, so you have to help them along more than you might vs one with drive wheels.
The single stage Snowmaster 824 QXE I have can actually move more snow faster than most two-stage blowers available. It's also way faster to make passes without having to mess with a huge, heavy two-stage behemoth with turn clutches or gear selection. It also clears basically right down to bare concrete which bigger two stages often tend to struggle with.
It's not too bad, most important thing to do is drain the gas from the tank/carb before you put it away for the season.

Was available in the MSP area.
Still, 801 left, so looks like they aren't exactly flying off the shelf.

Not looking forward to storing it or maintaining another gas engine but I know I'll thank myself later

Edit: I have already used it twice on 6-8" of snow in the midwest in 0° temps and it worked great. Ended up doing my driveway and four neighbors in < 45 minutes.

I type this as I've seen a few driveways using a one-stage blower and it looks ike more work than my 2 stage BUT still better than pushing w/a shovel

Toro sells them for ~$34 ea [toro.com], but here's a listing that does indicate rubber (you can also see it's flat - when it's curved for install, the shape gives it structure): https://www.repairclini
