That's a steal. That's why I like Sony for allowing third party lenses. I still have a Canon though.

Hey not to thread crap - but why don't I see great deals for EF Lenses for Canon anymore???? Is it due to hate towards Canon and the RF third party ban?

I don't mind buying EF lenses and using the RF to EF adapter on my Canon. But I don't see deals anymore - whether from Tamron or Sigma. I really would love the 24-70 Sigma or Tamron. Sometimes these go on sale for other bodies (Nikon/Sony etc) but not for Canon anymore. I tried bidding at Greentoe on a Sigma and was rejected. Used to go for $800 on sale in the past.

Call Cardinal Camera and ask. You can wheel and deal directly with Kurt and he'll probably tell you what's changed.
