Amazon does run occasional sales on the 8250 brushless with 3aH battery for 85. The 8240 does have a higher overall speed than the 8250 but uses a brushed motor and includes a 2aH battery. Overall decent deal though and Bosch 12v batteries are interchangeable with the Dremel 12v. The accessories kit definitely lifts it into slick deal territory
