1) this deal is listed on the main arbys.com webpage, and its description on the Deals webpage mentions it being a celebration of Potato Cakes' return, and nothing about it being user-exclusive. so it's probably good for everybody versus YMMV.

2) it seems that there are people who will thumbs down EVERYTHING that you post, no matter what it is. do you enjoy being such a controversial figure? Stick Out Tongue

I had no idea potato cakes were back. I haven't been to Arby's in a long time and I was disappointed when they took those away. I may need to go by for a BOGO sandwich and some potato cakes now Big Grin

Did they not have those recently, like last year? They had taken them away for a long time. They brought them back last year and now they are bringing them back again for this promotion? I had one and to me, it basically tastes like a McDonald's hashbrown.

From Assassin17's post, I would agree to an extent; however, to be safe? I would probably put YMMV.

As I said, I have not been there for a long time. But the last times I went, they did not have potato cakes as an option anymore. It is a lot like a hashbrown and a nice alternative to getting fries when you get burnt out on them.
