We realize reading website's
Acceptable Use Policy(AUP) and
Terms of Service (TOS) can get confusing with so much information. I know I'm one of those "I accept" people who just blindly probably signs away my soul to all websites' rules and regulations.
This is just a shortened tl;dr version of those pages on our site. Basically, just a quick rundown of our main rules—if those are followed, we should all have a good time here.
- Be Kind to each other – No harassment, trolling, political or offensive stuff. Keep it PG-13. Zero tolerance for threatening to kill someone or telling them to kill themselves. That will result in an automatic ban.
- Stay on topic – Every forum and thread has a purpose, so don't derail discussions. I'm lookin' at you, Tesla threads.
- No illegal or shady stuff – No piracy, hacks, scams, fake coupons, or anything sketchy.
- No spam or self-promo – This isn't a place to advertise your business or push referral/affiliate links. This includes anything you're affiliated with—your job, your spouse's business, etc.
- One account per person – No duplicate accounts. We'll know.
- No fake reviews or votes – Be honest. Don't game the system.
- Forum-specific rules exist – Some forums have extra rules. Check the pinned posts. For example - the first stickied thread in the freebies forum which should also answer any questions you have regarding trading on our site.
- We do not sell the items posted here - We share great deals, but we don't sell the products. If you buy something, it's between you and the seller. Read the fine print before purchasing!
- Competitor Sites - No posting competitor sites. That includes trying to circumvent any filters by using "creative" spelling. Trust me, we've seen it all.
- Banned Merchants - Some merchants have been banned from our site for various reasons. If you accidentally make a thread or post for them, your thread will be removed (A moderator will send you a quick PM to let you know).
- Merchant Guidelines - We do have a few guidelines for some merchants to be posted in Hot Deals.
Amazon:
- 3rd party merchants must have at least 250 lifetime feedback.
Ebay:
- Top Rated Plus Stores need 10k+ ratings.
- Not Top Rated Plus stores need 20k+ ratings.
- If it's an Ebay Daily Deal, it can be posted regardless of ratings.
Newegg:
- Merchants need to have 500+ seller ratings.
Walmart:
- Merchants need 250+ seller ratings.
Merchants falling below those requirements are welcome to be posted in
Marketplace Deals.- Mods make the final call – If you break the rules, we can remove posts, restrict access, or ban accounts.
That's the gist! If you want all the fine print, check out our
Terms of Service and
Acceptable use Policy. We also have a thread that goes into more detail regarding our forum rules and tips
here. Now go forth and snag some deals!

But in their defense, the people left on here are lazy and only want spoon fed deals.
People used to post Home Depot and other YMMV deals and get thumbed down because "could not replicate" . If they can't order and have it shipped from the comfort of their home, they don't like it. Therefore, a lot of deal hunters moved on from here.
Honestly though I prefer the YMMV deals since I usually get them 90-95% of the time since as you said nobody wants to do the legwork to get the deal.

Member deals tend to go fast and often receive very little feedback or ratings before they go dead. They seem to get posted between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. EST. Luckily, I'm an insomniac and often stay up late enough to catch them. You snooze, you lose—literally
