100% agree with this but for $8 it's a great step up if people are coming from a crappy drip machine. Quality is relative to the starting point.

You are doing it wrong. Check your temps, times, and instructions.

The oils are not trapped by the metal filter like a drip/paper. K-cups taste like melting plastic, if I can taste the plastic I am probably drinking plastic. You ever wonder why give me stores and fast food stores and coffee shops don't serve their coffee and plastic cups?
