It's just the online and brick and mortar distributor Liberated Brands that's going bankrupt. The Quiksilver, Volcom, and Billabong brands will carry on, just with someone else as the distributor.
So you will still be able to buy these branded products in the future.

Some of my favorite shorts. Especially since they have "odd" waist sizes (e.g. 31, 33). Definitely do not need any new ones right now but might as well get a couple of pairs and keep them in storage since I will never be able to buy them again.

A lot of reviews complain the sizing is way off for these shorts and this is final sale. They also complain there is no stretch despite the name. I have bought Frikin Tuner in the past and the sizing was correct.
These are my favorite shorts for the reason that they are very long and I am very tall. I am 6'7" and the stop just above my knee. If you are on the shorter side, they will be at or below the knee for you. They seem to run true to size waist size and have little to no stretch. I have a few pairs that are 3 years old and still look ok enough to wear for any occasion. The gripe, and it's a small one, is with the right side front pocket. There is a small pocket inside the pocket and my phone occasionally catches it when I put my phone there. That is the only complaint I could come up with.

I bought these before. Terrible quality. Loop broke after one wear. Fades in wash. Fabric actually comes apart after one wash. You get what you pay for.

I think you got a bad pair. Volcom short quality is excellent. They wear great.
