Thanks for the response...and yes that's the logical thought but they may think of it as unit purchase... A case is one unit not 3 units..if I bought 3 5 gal jugs yes def qualifies... 1 case.. up to their discretion. I already bought it so I'll submit and know for sure for next time...even if it doesn't come i paid $20/jug.

Receipt shows item number purchased. When submitting rebate attached second file with picture of case, circle item number on the case and add short text/explanation that case is 3x5 quarts and receipt item no matches case number. I did similar when I submitted rebate for Pennzoil Ultra. Many received $20 because Walmart receipt showed PZPL.

Ultra gets $10 more than plat, and walmart ultra is only $2 more per 5qt for me so pays to try ultra this year. Receipt shows PZULTR0W20 so hopefully no downgrade issue.

When I was buying Ultra Walmart Receipt showed "PZLPL 5W305Q 007161136559 29.44X". That was the reason why some received $20 instead of $30 rebate (I think). I attached additional file showing item# 007161136559 matching Ultra and received $30 rebate with no problem. No need to do this now because if receipt shows PZULTR, I paid $29.44 , now $26.50 darn.

This rebate is a joke. Never again. Initially processed as $20 because they mistakenly entered the oil purchased as "platinum" and not "ultra platinum" which should be $30. That rebate never showed up. Called back in early May to find out what was going on. Back and forth through email for weeks...finally got approved for $30...then they kept telling me they paid the $20 which they didn't. Back and forth again. Got the $10 rebate two weeks ago...still no $20. Finally I called again last week. The lady could not understand the issue...she kept saying "well, we show that $20 was paid"...holy hell. FINALLY she comes back on the line and processes the $20 rebate again.
I won't ever go through this again. Jesus Christ.
