If you can afford to wait, S10 FE is around the corner with bump in RAM! This should definitely drop sub 200 soon.

fyi, you're not wrong that the aldocube is a hell of a deal, but lets be honest, no one is cross shopping 11" tablets with 8.4" ones. different brushes for different strokes.. or something like that.

Same applies to samsung tablets. These aren't made in US either.

you are shilling the iplay60 on every tablet deal. The biggest problem with cheap tablets like that is the quality, or lack thereof. You also need to worry about hazardous chemicals being used during the manufacturing process even if you disregard the lacking quality control standards.
I think he is providing helpful information. 60 mini turbo is a hell of a tablet and being cheap is not a bad thing. I supposed you have never had it in your hand to speak negatively about the quality.

And what about hazardous what? Exactly what substance are you talking about and was there some trace found in something? I am really curious what this is about. Does this claim have any basis?

agree on principle that quality of AliExpress tablets are not great. two different ones failed within a year while a 4 year old iPad air is still kicking.

I don't understand... aliexpress is like amazon... they make nothing. Which "BRAND" and make and model are you talking about. That is why I am very specific about the make and model.

I can tell you that I once purchased a item from Aliexpress and received a knock off tablet with different specs that I ordered. When I looked closer I realized that I purchased the wrong name brand by one letter. I disputed it with my credit card company and life went on.
I can tell you that once purchased a item from Amazon.com and received a knock off. The item was Gillette razor blades. I tend to buy in bulk and stuff cold last a long time before I use it. So I don't know how long before I purchased it before I realized that I am shaving with sub par razor blades. I suffered a thousand cuts. BUT HEY... life goes on.

I think the biggest concern for me with this guy shilling for cheap chinese tablets and determining whether a deal is hot or warm is that he's always focused on specs/performance, and not software and support. My guess from his constant mention of the CPU and things like HDMI out on the iPlay60 is that he just cares about things like emulating games, which is fine for some users. But for others that may want to use a tablet for general purpose use that involves logging into your email, shopping sites, banking apps, social media... i'd stay far away from them and stick with a reputable OEM like Apple, Google, Samsung, Lenovo for updates alone.

Android OS updates are meaningful to me, and in that case I basically rule out all the cheapo no-name brands. They're not worth the headache to me (stressing my own personal use here) unless you also don't mind tinkering with custom ROMS. That makes a direct price comparison apples and oranges.

Anyway, my Galaxy Tab S9 FE has been really good, use it regularly for reading comics, streaming Netflix, Max, Disney+, and various sports, as well as light web browsing and games like Balatro both around the house and for travel. Works great, even with 6 GB of RAM.

Do you expect me to say... NO, the iplay60 mini turbo is NOT the best value of any tablet today?

And you call it a cheap tablet, no quality... wow!!! You never seen it you never touched it and you call it cheap. I think you are 100% wrong!!!

I go by SPECS!!! and the specs on the iplay 60 mini turbo are slightly better then this tablet.
TNT screen vs IPS screen, USB 2.0 vs USB 3.1, SnapDragon chip vs theirs.
Fair, and appreciate the share. I will say, counterpoint, the ~5y os support/updates/monthly patches are, IMO, a big deal. Especially if you plan on doing anything sensitive like online banking. Also, if you are already in the Samsung eco system, theres a lot of integration features and functionality like shared clipboards, calls/sms across devices, and Samsung's version of "multipoint Bluetooth." 2.5" of diagonal screen space may not sound like much, but it makes for ~48% more screen real estate. https://www.displaywars.com/8,3-i...-inch-16x9

if you want to emulate switch, you really need the elite CPU or what we will get in the next two years.

Thanks for this. Didn't think phones would be powerful enough yet but fired up citron on my s25u and it performs surprisingly well.
