basically the retail price is about 50% of MSRP just for retailer to exist. and then 50 cent for shipping if you average it out from china to us. and then the import duty, and then whatnot.
granted, the cost to make shoe is only the recurring cost, there is nonrecurring cost that hasn't been captured.
that said, i do rate clifton highly. i think they are on par with lone peak and on cloudgo, i just don't think they worth (for me) over 100 dollars as i can got other shoes for about 90ish.
