Not bad if you fill up at these stations. In my area, BP is more expensive to begin with, so that $.5 will only offset the price difference

Got this linked but had no luck getting a discount at the pump. Asked for a supervisor to call me back otherwise I'll be filing a charge back and a complaint to BBB and states attorney general for deceptive advertising. I hate how big corporations assume they can get away with fraud without consequences.

now as a result, I hate bp for wasting my time and my money. and now maybe someone will read this and decide not to shop there.

a rewards loyalty program poorly administered creates a negative net promoter score.

If you are new to the app, they give 250 points just for signing up. That you can redeem it instantly for an extra 5c / per gallon off, making the total 55c/per gallon off.

Haven't tried it yet but I'm guessing this is similar to Exxon and other fuel apps, they ask users to add a credit card or some mode of payment in the app.

Select a fuel grade to begin fueling.

We will then complete a pre-authorization with your bank and unlock your pump so that you can start fueling!

When fueling is finished, return the nozzle to the pump. Once back in your vehicle, you may view your receipt directly in the app.

How can they authorize with my bank? Do they mean my Amazon payment method?
Do I need to set up bank information while standing at the pump?

Not standing at the pump, but beforehand... you'll add a mode of payment in the app, like a credit card etc. Similar to Exxon or other fuel selling apps.
