This film isn't actually just a skin flick. It's well rated by both reviewers and users.
"The lives of Julio and Tenoch, like those of 17-year old boys everywhere, are ruled by raging hormones, intense friendships, and a headlong rush into adulthood. Over the course of a summer, the two best friends, while living out a carefree cross-country escapade with a gorgeous older woman, also find connection with each other, themselves and the world
around them."

Led by a triumvirate of terrific performances, Alfonso Cuarón's free-spirited road trip through Mexico is a sexy and wistful hymn to the fleetingness of youth.
Y tu mamá también won the Best Screenplay Award at the Venice Film Festival. It was also a runner-up at the National Society of Film Critics Awards for Best Picture and Best Director and earned a nomination for Best Original Screenplay at the 2003 Academy Awards and Best Foreign Film at the Golden Globes.
I think its a great movie and I've seen it several times and at $2, a no brainer. Despite it being a foreign language film which I'm not super into and NOT being MA.
Oh, and if you already have Netflix, Hulu or AMC+, it's currently available.
Gosh this brings back memories - Absolutely amazing film with an equally amazing soundtrack. If you like Gael García Bernal, definitely also checkout Amores Perros.

I saw this movie on netflix. If you are an English speaking person who is just curious what adolescent behavior was like 20 years ago in another land (mexico i think) then enjoy a mini vacation time traveling with this movie.this is well acted by the actors if you enjoy that kind of thing (the argentinan actor is well respected and did a great movie called "the motorcycle diaries". Its one of the movies that does not feel like a Hollywood movie because it does not have a cheesy ending. If you are curious about latino culture then yes watch it. If you like a sex theme movie then yes watch it but don't expect it to be a porno, its an independent movie that explores "sexual awakening". Its a great movie to learn how to speak with Mexican slang.

Even better if you speak Spanish. It starts as a comedy and turns into a drama.
Don't listen to the fools who are calling this a skin flick. I've seen this movie several times and don't even remember those scenes. The storyline is about two teenage boys, who were best friends, that end up hating each other for banging each other's girls behind their backs.
