I have one of these- different brand- and I love it. They all sag a bit, prone to rust, etc. (it lives in a fire people!) Keep it out of direct contact with the super hot parts of the fire and it does fine. I season mine like a griddle. Leave a nice layer on and don't overheat it and you're golden.
Seems like a good price.
Save the box it comes in and tape up the edges, makes a clean place to store it without getting grease all over. I had mine in my travel trailer for years in the original box and never made a mess.

No. Not every one of these are prone to rust. It depends on the material and on the finish.
I purchased a firepit with one of these built in, not knowing it was painted. Do not buy something that is painted if you intend on cooking on it. End of story.
