I got this after forgetting my soft shell to hike Mt. massive. Was very warm and liked the hood. It's not going to be as good as a Black diamond shell but those are $120. All around good backup. Don't know how this preforms in the rain. Wind block was great.

Is the posted size guide acurate? I bought another brand and the chest area measured across runs 2 inches wider.
