There's been a ton of scientific research done on MSG, and the consensus is that MSG is no more harmful than sugar or salt. There's no scientifically supported link between MSG and headache.
The "MSG bad" myth was rooted in racism and has been thoroughly debunked. Funny how people have been consuming MSG for centuries without a problem, but it only became a scary thing when the racists in America felt threatened by the success of Chinese restaurants.
Either something else is causing your headache or you are imagining it because you are too proud and stubborn to admit that your belief in the MSG myth was wrong.
Go to an actual doctor and get your "headache" looked at.
So you're saying that MSG is not good for the body? Because every doctor says to limit sugar and salt intake. 😂
But that user is right. Some people have issues with msg: (Google ai report)
* Potential Sensitivities:
* Some individuals report experiencing symptoms like headaches, flushing, sweating, and numbness after consuming MSG. This has been referred to as "MSG symptom complex."
The amount of msg added is a higher quantity found in normal amounts of real food grown from the ground

Also, the Google AI summary that appears on top of search results is not reliable.
Here's a summary from chatgpt (since you seem to trust whatever AI spits out)
- **Human Studies**: Well-controlled human studies have not established a clear link between MSG and adverse health effects. Some people report sensitivity or intolerance to MSG, but this is not supported by robust scientific evidence[4][5].
## Common Misconceptions
- **Chinese Restaurant Syndrome**: This condition, characterized by symptoms like headaches and flushing, was initially attributed to MSG. However, controlled studies have failed to confirm MSG as the cause[4][6].
- **Other Symptoms**: Reports of MSG causing headaches, asthma, or other symptoms are largely anecdotal and not supported by strong scientific evidence[4][6].

You want a scientific study? Why should I care if 100% of the time I consume anything with MSG makes me sick? I'm like a walking MSG detector. The other day I ate chips and felt weak, checked the ingredients and it had MSG. same goes for most cajun seasonings.
Also the headache from MSG are not the normal ones you get. It feels like someone hit you with a sledgehammer and you can't focus anymore and just want to close your eyes for the next 4 hours.
