Product Info:- Weize hitch mount cargo carrier (53 in. L x 19 in. W x 4-1/8 in. H) offers an extra storage space for your items behind your vehicle, and also brings you more convenience and safety during your travelling and camping.
- This hitch cargo basket is made from heavy-duty steel which can haul up to 500 lbs of cargo, gear, and equipment, the powder coating also helps protect from rust and corrosion. (We recommend park your car indoors and use Truck Bedliner Paint to make the entire rack rustproof)
- Heavy duty tubular steel construction and rails on all four sides provide maximum stability for your luggage. The included Cargo Bag, Cargo Net, Tie Down Straps and Hitch Tightener also provide more strength and protection when stretched over larger cargo items such as tents, luggage, moving boxes and more.
- The 2" shank works great with any vehicle that has a 2" receiver, easily mounting onto all Car, SUV and Pickup. It is specifically intended for installation on the back of your car. Please ensure your vehicle has a 2" receiver hitch before purchasing. This product is not compatible with other size of hitches.

I use totes from Costco and ratchet it down super tight. Didn't move so much as an inch on 500+mile drives.
The one issue albeit minor is it does bottom out on speed bumps and some inclines but that's probably more to do with how low my cuv is.
