I ordered the 1st version of this battery last year, and EW sent replacement BMSs to those of us that requested on the forum. I've had no issues with this battery since changing out the BMS & doing a "top balance" on the cells. I also have a subsequent version of the battery, that has also operated well - after top balancing the cells. Prior to top balancing the cells, both batteries had "runner cells" that would cause the BMS to stop charging before the battery was fully charged, due to single cell overvoltage.
I've also had this inverter in service for over a year. It has operated flawlessly in this time. It's a rebadged SRNE HYP series model. The only issue I had, is that the "wifi" dongle is a real PITA to set up. I use Solar Assistant to monitor now, so wifi is no longer needed.

This was $1100 just a couple of months ago.
