It is a little strange that the workload is 550 TB/yr while the warranty is 300 TB/yr. Does anyway know what the power draw actually is? The product listing just states "Lowest 16 TB power consumption"...

You can buy SAS breakout cables for around $12-15 for two Mini SAS 36P SFF-8087 to 4 SFF-8482 Connectors With SATA Power Cable 3FT 1M
Note that IBM, HP, Dell, Lenovo, and Fujitsu also have their own variants of LSI 92xx cards which should come pre-flashed in IT mode. Make sure to update the BIOS of the cards as soon as you get them.
Also make sure you have some kind of active cooling fan on the cards since they are designed to be in a server with lots of airflow. You can either buy a cheap 40mm 3 pin fan or use PCI slot fan to keep the card cool, otherwise you might run into overheating issues
