I have used these in my xbox controllers, they are the 2nd worst rechargeables I've tried. They last about half as long as batteries of the same mAh. They work, but don't last long (per use, unsure about total lifetime)

For reference = I've tried Bonai, Mupoer, Duracell, EBL Rayovak, Tenergy. Rayovaks were probably the worst.
Results with Amazon basics batteries are very very mixed. Some people report having good success, others report having many them die quick.

The only thing I've seen that's pretty universal is that this 2000mah size is better than the 2400mah "high capacity" one.

My personal results have been positive, but many many others aren't.

Here's a Different deal - 4 pack AA + 4 pack AAA plus charger for ~$6 with a 30% plus a clipped 40% coupon. Reviews for the brand seem good.

Found this very useful thanks for suggestion

Buy eneloop. You get what you pay for.

The Japanese nimh cells are low self discharge, so they don't drain quickly while sitting, their capacity is accurate, and they work reliably for years.

These cheap rechargeable aa batteries are all junk.

Anyone have one to offer your impressions?
Yes, I have this exact set, as well as AAA and 9v rechargables. They all work great, though I bought a larger charger that will do D cell and the 9V.

No issues with the Amazon Basic's batteries in 3 years now.

Amazon rechargeable batteries don't last for atleast the amount of time they took to charge. Just ultra low quality stuff.

We use Energizer, Amazon Basic, and Panasonic Eneloop rechargeable batteries. Of the three, I've noticed the Amazon Basics don't hold the charge as long.

There are a lot of good battery chargers out there. I got one with a little display that shows a lot of information that I found to be a particularly helpful. If you are invested in rechargeable batteries, I highly recommend getting a good charger.

How did you find this deal? Mine came out to $4.74 after coupons and subscribe&s discount. EEK!

Is this crap? Or are they trying to move it because its micro-USB?
Totally by chance - clicked through on the Amazon deal, this was 'suggested', figured it was a better deal just w/ the 40% off, but the 30% layered in on top during checkout. Could be the micro-usb but that's no problem for me.

Charger is ok. Batteries are cheap Chinese ones that fail within a year or so.

Recently bought a batch of these AAs and they a little larger diameter than most AA batteries, I believe the positive lead is possibly slightly shorter as well...they don't fit in a faucet motion sensor battery module, for example (or in a Battery Daddy/Caddy)

I've been using Amazon rechargeable batteries for my XBox controllers for ~10 years. They work great for that. Don't know if the lifetime is good or bad, but I don't really care, since I just recharge them when they're low.

On the deal ... this looks like a fairly good deal for NiMH cells.

On the batteries ... one must remember that NiMH cells only charge up to 1.25v. If you have an device that requires 1.5v, the device battery indicator will read (on full charge) that your batteries are at only 80%. It is an attribute of the battery chemistry.
