Most motherboards should address it with no problems, but you should definitely check your specific motherboard for support.
With that said, it's not going to be anywhere near as fast as a normal NGFF drive, as it will use the SATA bus.
Luckily, it's only 128GB, so I suspect people would only buy it for very limited use cases.
I burned through several SD cards while running Home Assistant before I got wise and switched to an SSD. So, these are perfect for that.

Actually, this is a B+M key, so it will physically work in either socket.

Do I pull the trigger now and save $10-$20 or do I wait until I have my MB decided on? Get in on a slickdeal or wait until you are actually sure you need it? I almost always go for the former. :-)

I installed Windows 10 Pro on a 120GB drive recently, strictly for troubleshooting an ailing PC. The drive was full before the updates completed.
I imagine Win LTSC might fare a little better.
Or Linux distros would probably be more reasonable.
*edit* Wow, you people are brutal.
If anyone has a hint on what I did wrong, I'd love to hear it, instead of just downvoting my personal experience that happened literally 2 weeks ago. It was just a straight install of Win 10 Pro on a 120GB SSD.
