Argh, never even thought about the plastic bleeding through on these. I eat one for lunch at work cause it's so convenient. Damn, trying my best to eat healthier while keeping to a budget
Does not compute 1 oz of this stuff has 2 grams of sugar . 1 oz of M&Ms has 18 grams of sugar .
All the disturbing health news about plastic container emitting microplastics into our food while microwaving. These convenient plastic-ware is concerning to me; maybe transfer to glass container for cooking?

With the seasoning packet, it's 9gr sugar for the entire serving. But, as somebody else said, the entire packet doesn't have to be used. TRY using 1/2 - it will also cut the insane amount of sodium (1560mg). You can always add more.

Really does not compute an entire package contains 8 grams sugar not sure where you are getting the extra gram.. A package is 2 servings which means 4 grams sugar per serving. An entire package contains 1440 mg of sodium not 1560 so 720mg per serving.
A package is ONE serving -- Amazon's photo clearly states so. It also shows 9 total grams of sugar and 1340mg sodium. I was off about the sodium, but still VERY high.

I bought this on the last deal. I regret it... I didn't have high expectations, but it's not good... It's like "Maruchan" quality. I can see why these go on sale... Desperate to get rid of them.

Also the plastic seal doesn't come off cleanly.

I agree. Bought a three pack (or some sale where it was buy three, get a discount) and threw away two.

Nongshim remains the sweet spot for cheap noodle meals. And the paper cups have no (or at least much less) microplastic concerns. But like all packaged noodles, they're really only good if you add your protein, vegetables, and seasoning of choice.
