Killer deal in comparison to others for this soundbar. Great soundbar if you get the app to work for you. It took me at least 90 minutes to get it to replace an existing arc and pair the previous subs and surrounds. Is it leaps and bounds better than the arc? No. But it is definitely better than the beam or any other sound bar Sonos sells except the arc. If you're thinking about upgrading from the arc, not worth it. For the other soundbars Sonos makes it's a great upgrade for a good price.
Do you realize a LOT of people don't want three huge speakers and a receiver in their living room?

That's not the same customer or use case. Is this over priced? Probably but sounds good enough for most people and most of all looks nice
It just looks worse. I don't know one single person with multiple speakers and a receiver in their living room. If you have a media room sure. But the person looking for a sleek soundbar isn't the same person looking to build a home theater or multiple speaker sets. With Sonos you can get surround speakers that work wirelessly as well. The receiver route most likely will involve wires going all over the place if you want speakers behind you.

Obviously the receiver with deditcsted speakers will sound best but it's just not the same use case

Is this new? I don't see the condition listed anywhere. Could be refurb or open box?

I've had Sonos for over 10 years and I never had any of the recent glitches. I was lucky I guess.

Undoubtedly. Dialogues are so much clear now and I don't have to fiddle with the volume controls.

I don't think it's that much better than the arc. Is it better, yes! But pay $700+ better, IMO, no.

9 speakers surrounding you can't be imitated with a bar come on now lol that's all marketing. For $800 just buy three decent speakers & a receiver.

Yep, like those cellphone marketers back in the day selling us on a wireless device that can make phone calls anywhere in the world. They really expected us to believe you can make a phone call without being attached to some form of cable? 🙄

You don't need HUGE speakers nowadays, two bookshelves would be sufficient for most people. Also there's some aesthetically pleasing ones. It's just silly to spend almost $1k when you can get good audio from two speakers & save yourself money.
