Product has a sleek design and works pretty good... my 2 cents... if the screw is too tight, this wont work. The motor doesnt lock when not activated so the bit will just spin in the head of the driver. Also, its not ergonomic at all and I wish there were more size options for the bits. There are many bit types most will never use but very few of the ones (in varying sizes) that will get most used.
Well Amazon has free two day shipping for members and super easy returns. You can order from temu but it will take 10 days to 2 weeks to get and if anything is wrong with it you have to ship it back to China
The same model? There are definitely worse electronic precision screwdrivers out there, some even run off 2 AAA batteries, which of course lowers the price.
Would prefer AAA batteries instead of rechargeable, which is junk when the build-in rechargeable battery stop holding a charge.

I would prefer a manual quality kit like the ifixit. I wouldn't trust a motorized to not strip tiny valuable screws. I'd rather be able to "feel" the torque and resistance. And this is speaking as someone with kids and also branded as the "tech" friend with lots and lots of handheld screen repairs, laptop repairs, and controller repairs.
Temu has these all day $12-15 what's the deal here?
This seems to be another HOTO sponsored post by staff. On amazon, there are many usb-c screwdrivers for $25 or less. So, you're right, there's no real deal here. I bought something similar for about $20 from amazon a year ago and it works great. I'm sure this works great as well, but again, no real deal here.

I don't think you understand the use case for this. You can still manually tighten or loosen the screws with this (in fact, you're supposed to!).
These electric screwdrivers just save the excess wrist turning once you've loosened the screw, or once you've inserted the screw properly into the hole (which should both be done manually using this tool). You would also still manually tighten the screw once it's nearly all the way in to ensure it doesn't strip.
The handle on these aren't great/ergonomic and you won't have any leverage to remove really tight screws, so you'd want a small screwdriver kit with a thicker and more rounded body shape

Anyone have an opinion on the "newer" model listed on the page for $40 after the 20% off coupon. I did some searching but couldn't find a comparison. Only clear difference is the case and a 2 mode torque setting switch. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D78XR6FR
Haven't used the meet one. I have the older one and love it, only wish it had a light (which the newer one does).
The motor isn't really strong. Most of the time, you'll have to manually undrill the screw a little and then use the motor. You'll also have to manually tighten the screw post securing it, as well. However, it does save you a lot of torque time when the screw is loose. I do recommend it.
You really wouldn't want it to be that strong with such delicate electronics. It's really not much hassle to quickly loosen it by hand.
Having tested this model, the Fanttik E1 Pro, and the Rotoya P1 Pro Max - this is the best one to get. More torque and better features when it comes to these electric precision screwdrivers. That and I like the case for this one better:
I have both the fanttik e1 pro and the Roytoa p1 pro max. I like the fanttik for their simplistic designs but hates it when it rolls off the table, its cylindrical shape. Roytoa doesn't roll off. It feels nicer and smaller with the fanttik so I keep that in my office. The Roytoa is more practical as it has a slight higher torque…honestly I can't tell the difference since it's able to muscle through similar stuff I've been repairing. It's also nice that the Roytoa has battery indicator too. Fanttik does not have any indicator that I'm aware of.
Hoto looks nice and small but not as strong as the two I mentioned.

Thinking of getting a set to open some electronics and assemble Ikea furniture.
