yes it's a. very good deal. the chips is in a few budget minded prebuilts specifically because it runs like a raped ape!! And it has onboard graphics. also the 760M graphics work pretty damn good!! I've played "world of tanks and "world of warships" and I have no issue keeping the enemies at bay with 60fps solid at the expense of a few high end graphical settings.
The CPU, Ryzen 5 8600G, was released 2024 and was meant to be CPU with impressive integrated graphics capabilities, the 760M (laptop graphics, efficient power usage) https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-c...u-review/3
This video seems close to the configuration in the deal, albeit it has double the memory (32gb vs 16gb in the deal). I think that'll be a negligible difference. The video shows the machine giving a great 1080p experience. https://youtu.be/i_qj2UVHN4Q?si=XuZAF5CTzme-XSIv
My semi-qualified observation on this build, if you like having multiple games installed at once you should look into another hard drive, the 500 GB drive this comes with will fill up fast. I suspect that at some point you will want to upgrade the videocard when you run into some games that don't run well for you. This won't likely use much power overall, as the CPU and graphics are really power efficient (might be a plus if electricity usage is a concern, or if you're in a hot area that's hard to cool down). If you want to run new games at high settings this is the wrong setup for you. It seems to be close in price to a steam deck, which if you're only interested in gaming and don't mind using a controller that would be something to consider. Another $200 would get you something like a radeon RX 6600 graphics card that would really help out with performance.
This PC would be a decent base to build from. I don't know exactly what motherboard this will have, power supply, or the case. I think I picked something close as an example, but it has double the storage and double the memory. The case is up to personal preference, I picked one made by a decent manufacturer that includes enough fans to make sense. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Vw8Bxg
You would need to get windows on a usb stick and either activate windows, use it unactivated, transfer an existing microsoft account with windows on it, or purchase a resold windows license from an OEM selling them off (like on groupon, for ~$11).
There's a warning about potentially needing to flash the bios of the motherboard to resolve a compatibility issue with the CPU. If building a PC isn't for you, the bundle for the deal saves you the trouble of ordering stuff, building it, trying to make it work, and gives you a single point of contact for issues. I think there's better value to be had with building one on your own, but that's not for everybody.
Would this be a good system for someone who does some basic to mid Photoshop work? That would be the most taxing thing I'd be doing with it, as I am not a gamer. My biggest concern seems to be lack of internal 3.5" HD bays. I have three now, so might have to invest in a single, large drive instead.

terrible deal don't bother this uses a laptop intergrated graphics. Better off looking for something that has a RTX3060 or above.
