I saw this recently and LOVED it!! If I purchase this, do I have to watch on apple tv - which I don't have - or can watch on another channel? Is this price only for the apple tv version? I think I saw it on Paramount but don't own it. Thanks.

If you buy it via Apple you can only watch it via the Apple TV app or on Apple devices. But its also the same price on Vudu/Fandango Now.

Just finished watching this series for the third time. Writing is excellent, characters are interesting, and the set pieces are absolutely stunning. The level of thought and detail they put into capturing what life would have been like at the time is incredible. Even the opening theme music is chef's kiss!

You have to watch it on the AppleTV app, but these days most modern smart devices have an AppleTV app available, and yes even on non-Apple products.

I might need to give this a go again, but from what I remember from ~10 years ago, I thought the first two seasons were fantastic. Then the third season is okay, and the wheels (heh) really just fall off in the fourth season. It got bad enough that I didn't even try the fifth season.
