About this item:
- Delivers 360° air purification by capturing allergens and particulates in 2 filter layers. The outside pre-filter catches large dust particles and pet hair and the True HEPA filter captures 99.97%* of allergens and particulates.
- This compact air cleaner is perfect for smaller rooms like the office, bedroom, den or nursery. The 360° filter pulls in air from all directions to clean rooms up to 5 times per hour when used in a room 80 sq. ft. and 2 times an hour when used in a room up to 200 sq. ft.
- This True HEPA air purifier has 3 speeds and an app to customize air care to your needs. Use the Routines function in the app to create a schedule, such as turn air purifier on for 8 hours starting at 10 am.
- Get ready for a good night's sleep. Select the low speed for quiet air purification and turn the adjustable night-light to bright, dim or off.
- This air purifier is "Works with Alexa Certified" and easily connects to your Alexa smart speaker or the Alexa app. You can control it with your voice or through the app from anywhere: turn on or off, change settings, check filter life and more. To program unique command phrases or set a schedule, use Routines in the app.

Even if the lights can't be turned off, I'd just cover whatever's lit with electrician's tape. If it's Alexa-enabled, them I'd put it on a schedule and/or voice control it. Never need to touch it
Zero idea why we can't disable lights in life as a stock option

EDIT: Funny thing is Amazon sells this for $60 but not to CA as it doesn't meet CA's air cleaner standards. But Walmart can ship it to CA?
EDIT2: It seems there is a non-Alexa model and an identical looking Alexa model. The non-Alexa model is $60 an cannot ship to CA but the Alexa model can and is $70.
Thanks for saving me the effort.
This is good for closets and bathrooms. Unfortunately I already have units everywhere.
I agree, I don't understand how these things work effectively if they can't eliminate dust.
However I am guessing the dust from litter settles too quickly before air filters get a chance to trap them. I also could not find one thst reduces smells effectively. The square footage coverage is probably exaggerated on every model and they need to list how many times they can circulate air in an hour or how long does it take to filter complete area air is also important.

I ordered one of these, so we'll see if it helps at all. Even with the Winix with it's Ion mode, that didn't seem to do anything either.
