FYI, lights can't be disabled. That makes it a no go for me.
Filter price reminds me of the inkjet printer cartages.
Filters (12020 Filter Replacement Compatible with Clorox Tabletop Air Purifier model # 11020) can be obtained at Amazon for as little as less than $12/filter. That seems reasonable.

One of the reviews on Amazon for this says the light can be turned off.

Even if the lights can't be turned off, I'd just cover whatever's lit with electrician's tape. If it's Alexa-enabled, them I'd put it on a schedule and/or voice control it. Never need to touch it

I bought a PS Portal and wanted a stand dock. All the ones on Amazon had annoying lights. Sonys 3rd party could turn off so I paid about $35 just to not be blinded.

Zero idea why we can't disable lights in life as a stock option

I've been wanting to get a room filter since my place gets pretty dusty. I think shark makes one that seems pretty legit, and you don't have to replace the filter often. I think it's actually like 5 years. Replacement filter doesn't seem too expensive either. There are some other companies out there, but filters seem expensive. I'm still shopping around though.

While looking at this little guy on the site, I noticed this larger room option for $55 with the PM2.5 sensing technology built in. Don't know if this is a deal however I don't see anything similar for less than $100.

I've not had much luck keeping an 80 sq ft room dust-free with even a triple-stage HEPA air filter -- dust still accumulates on surfaces. I think these filters circulate the air around and some goes into the filter but the rest falls to a surface and nothing is going to move it once it's on a surface.

EDIT: Funny thing is Amazon sells this for $60 but not to CA as it doesn't meet CA's air cleaner standards. But Walmart can ship it to CA?
EDIT2: It seems there is a non-Alexa model and an identical looking Alexa model. The non-Alexa model is $60 an cannot ship to CA but the Alexa model can and is $70.
I am using super old rectangular sharp purifier, helps avoid cat litter dust from accumulating on coffee table and entertainment console areas. You really need something thst takes air from sides and pushes up and something thst has large filtering surface. Suggest get a winix style one rectangular wall looking.

Funny you would suggest that because that's the one that I had and while it maybe reduced the dust accumulation on surfaces by half, that's about as good as it got. I had hoped it would do better. Not to mention the cost of the filters were high for what it accomplished. It's a tiny room so I thought it would be easier to keep clean. Maybe i'm expecting too much but when something says it filters 99.7% particles, that's what I hope for.

Does this mist bleach into the air?

Thanks for saving me the effort.

This is good for closets and bathrooms. Unfortunately I already have units everywhere.

I agree, I don't understand how these things work effectively if they can't eliminate dust.
However I am guessing the dust from litter settles too quickly before air filters get a chance to trap them. I also could not find one thst reduces smells effectively. The square footage coverage is probably exaggerated on every model and they need to list how many times they can circulate air in an hour or how long does it take to filter complete area air is also important.

No kitty litter here, just dust that somehow makes it into a 8x10ft room off the inside of my garage that I use for my home office. Despite the door almost always being closed, there is always so much dust accumulated. Crazy.

I ordered one of these, so we'll see if it helps at all. Even with the Winix with it's Ion mode, that didn't seem to do anything either.

Check the windows for gaps.
Also do you have washer/ dryer at home, check the lint filter and ducts .

Really tempted…have the Wyze purifier that I got on Facebook marketplace new for cheap….but wasn't counting on the filters for them to cost fricking $40. $12 for the filter for these sounds way more reasonable.

Can anyone vouch for the 3rd party filters actually working?
