Ignoring politicis, this is not a deal. That 1k gets amortized over 2 years rather than the standard 3. If you want a deal on a 3, just buy a used one for 10 bucks. Plus prices are going to drop further fast, nobody is buying them. This is fact, not political commentary (I have a 3).
used is the way to go. Though the new one's have better quality it ain't worth the upcharge. Find late 2022 or any 2023, you should be still good. Like $25-30 for model3

If you qualify for $4k tax break, get a used one $25k or under, bringing it down to under $21k - I just ordered a mid '22 with 12k miles last week for this price. Was looking at any other brand in this price range and this seemed to be best option (for us), even with all the crap going on with them. Nice bonus was I found out after ordering that we might qualify for add'l $4k rebate from utility company, hopefully bringing it down even more to $17k!

The car is not good enough to be worth the hassle of dealing with hostile people and vandals.

They also charge acquisition fee of $695, then plus fees and taxes, that $1000 down turns into $2905 for state of GA, which charges tax upfront. This also includes 1st month $299 payment.

You can get a 2020 for 15k now, and it's more or less the same as the 2024 with minor changes and probably a bit less battery. People can't sell them to save their lives, they're desperate to get rid of them. I'm so glad I leased.

The insurance on my '25 M3 is less than my '16 C300.

M3 refers to a Tesla Model 3, and not a BMW M3 right? Are you insuring through Tesla direct, or through a different carrier?

Spending a little time on Facebook Marketplace tells me that's not true.

Tesla owned Insurance is super cheap in CA. Far less than what I paid on an Audi A4.
