This reminded me of when I was a kid, and I was too lazy to put air in my basketball, so I took my dad's leather, indoor-only ball and took it to the park. My friends and I were so rough on that thing, kicking it around and throwing it against the concrete wall... Man, I got quite the whooping that night.

This is the cheap rubber outdoor balls and will last a few months with regular 2-3 days a week use. Not bad for $9. Got a couple for my kids.

This reminded me of when I was a kid, and I was too lazy to put air in my basketball, so I took my dad's leather, indoor-only ball and took it to the park. This ball explodes off the rim, its 100% rubber and way too bouncy. You'll spend more time chasing it than playing, save your money. The only thing its good for is dribble practice.

Looking for an indoor ball that won't break the bank. Wilson Evolution and Evo NXT seem to be the top picks, but can't find any deals at less than full price for 80 and 100 respectively Frown

Yup, I have this ball as well and it's waaaay too bouncy when fully inflated.

Evolution was $45 in December. So it does go on sale sometimes if you absolutely must have a Wilson.

Otherwise, I recommend the Mikasa BQ1100 on Amazon. Its $44 right now and dont listen to the dumbass reviews. It doesnt leak. I havent pumped mine since I bought it back in 2023. This is the Japanese pro ball I believe. Its excellent but be warned its softer than the Evolution. Some people like that, and some dont. I always use this ball over an evolution because I am 6" tall and with normal size hands. Softer ball means better grip and easier handling.

There are other good balls out there too. Some players love The Rock. Ive also seen some Baden Elites and Spalding Legacy TF1000s bounced around still.
