Used to buy Logitech mice exclusively but every mouse in the last decade I've got from them has developed click or scroll wheel problems. Just not worth the time and hassle.

As much as I dislike their compliance as the industry leader, this isn't entirely true. Their expensive G502 X and G Pro X 2 as well at the new budget G309 come with their own optical switches.

Still doesn't make it any less egregious, especially when you buy one second hand and then they don't offer any support, acting like they didn't design the mouse to fail...
