Target usually runs a 10% off deal quarterly but they charge taxes and E-911 fees on T-mobile refills. Walmart does not charge taxes or fees (at least when I checked out via PayPal) so I found this deal better.

It's probably depends on your state (aka how much target charge for tax and e--911 fee). It's still cheaper to use target if you have the 5% off from target redcard

My last top up from target:

Subtotal
$50.00
Discounts
-$7.25
Save $5 with $50+ prepaid airtime card purchase
-$5.00
Target Circle Card 5%
-$2.25
Regional Fees
$1.65
Fulfillment
Free
Tax
$0.00
Total
$44.40

Basically I get $5.60 ( or around 11.2% discount).

This walmart deal give $3.68 ( or 9.2% discount). However if you have any discount on top for walmart ( for example your cc cash back), or your state have different fee. This deal may be better.
