The new xreal one glasses are more, but come with "native 3DOF" which is far more comfortable.
You can technically use them tethered to a PC or an android "puck" but that tech is not being worked on anymore and was mediocre at best to begin with.
seems like a good experience and less fishbowl than uwieldy VR headsets
