It's different from the x20. Serves a different purpose. X20 is great for ANC and sound isolation. Aerofits are great for open ear. I find the v20i adequate at the lower price point. the aerofit have a higher IP rating and look better than the v20i. V20i have a better adjustable fit thus better sounding
