These were $20 online a week or so ago. They seem pretty nice and I like that the battery is standard AA rechargeable replaceable.

Didn't quite fit our needs due to being a little too dim.

If they have the items in the bulk and take more space to store and definitely the sale in a couple of months, lastly, some managers to get rid of inventory asap.
Could be just the manager? Could be needing room for something else? Could be they bought WAY too many and then to boot they came late and didnt sell well!

These are sold out in Bay Area at $19.97. That's the price I paid for 10 packs.

It is always hard to chase one off costco slick deals due to individual store price adjustment. I usually scan Costco aisles for such deals and just buy it if it is a special deal and I need it.

I can't find the product via the item number. When i search via the app using it, item # 1806324 is the result I get. Tommy Bahama square solar Bollard light, 35 lumens, 5 pack.

I guess Costco changed the # since prior sale. I got a few sets when it was on sale for $20 per set and the item # was different.

Can someone explain why some managers want stuff gone so bad they do this? I don't understand why I've store would do this and not others.
Think of the space, and not the item, that generates money/profits for the store. If the item is not moving/selling fast enough, or if they have a better, more profitable selling item they can replace it with, then they will. Also, how much inventory matters as well on their decision to fire sale an item. It's the manager's job to make sure all space in the store is making as much profit as possible.

There are like 10 Costcos in a 50 mile radius.

They all had these (~100-150 at each Costco) at full price ($36.99). Nobody is even touching them.

Once the price dropped to $20, they were all gone in a few days. All Costcos were out of stock.

People know shit that doesn't move is going to go on some kind of sale.

Even if they lost money on this, it will come back next year. How do I know? The same thing happened last year lol.
