Are these pretty useful and worth it? Can someone share why / when you would add these?

Assuming you have an Ecobee thermostat, these are useful if you have rooms/areas of your home that you want to have more temperature control... you can set the thermostat to include/exclude temperature readings from specific sensors based on a schedule or on demand. I have 4 sensors, 1 each in the living room, office, kitchen, and bedroom. I set the Ecobee to only include the bedroom sensor in its temp readings starting around my usual bedtime, and exclude it during the day (when I'm not in the bedroom). During working hours it only pays attention to the office sensor, in the evening only the kitchen and living room, etc.

Are these compatible with the old ones?
