Shipping is expensive if you haven't subscribed to their service. All of the reviews mention the shipping or the packaging and nothing about the batteries themselves.

EDIT: Whoops, sorry. Didn't mean for this to be a reply to you, just a general comment.
You know what's even better than recycled, low waste whatever batteries? Rechargeable batteries. Nimh will work in 90 percent of devices, and if you have one of those weird sensitive devices that needs more than 1.2 volts, they also make rechargeable lithium batteries that use a voltage regulator to stay at 1.5 the whole time.
This company is trying to sell you better horses when we already have cars. I don't get it

Rechargeable batteries aren't convenient, especially in a work environment. Both have their place but regular batteries are just better for low-drain devices.

Is that a good deal, or meh? I've never seen that battery brand, anyone knows if "certified carbon-neutral alkaline batteries" are any good? Seems to me it's not the batteries they are selling, but THE MESSAGE

Code FSDEALS should make it free unless that code finally expired.

In what way are they not convenient?
