I bought this last year for around the same price and I have used it on 6 round trip flights including 1 international. Being able to clip this on many parts of the seat in front of you so you don't have to strain is amazing. The magsafe magnet is the strongest I have ever seen on anything magsafe. If i were to guess the strength may be at 20 pounds of pressure. When trying to remove my phone, i have to use both hands because the mount will pull off the seat before the magnet gives in.
Again, can be clipped on back of seats, on the tray table when eating and drinking and folds away into my front pocket of my backpack.
I have had a dozen people stop me on the plane saying I must be a professional traveler, because this lisen grip is stupid easy, high build quality, and eliminates all the issues of using your phone on a plane.
This is permanently in my bag and used at least twice a week.
Between this and their ice cooler qui2 car charger, I am a bigger fan of them then anker right now.
Not only does it work well, but it also works in conjunction with the spigen tintap. It can hold the phone, case and magsafe wallet passthru.. ON the turbulent plane!
