What makes you prefer that one? The OP has a slightly deeper clamp capacity and apparently stronger aluminum alloy arm (advertised as holding up to 10KG)

I have this and love it. The clamp is really strong and it folds very compactly (I'd say much more compact than the UGREEN). Previously bought at one dollar more, just bought another one. Highly recommended.

I'd like something like this to use as an impromptu desktop "tripod" to take group photos.

Can someone who owns the LISEN or the UGREEN comment on whether it will hold a phone while sitting on a flat surface? The phone will be facing forward instead of inclined upwards.

So I got the UGREEN and, because of the way its joints are articulated, I cannot get both the iPhone 16 Pro's center of gravity over the base and keep the phone vertical.

Almost vertical but not perfectly vertical so not useful for taking photos.

I'm going to keep it to use on an upcoming flight though.
