The top comfort layers are thinner than a Dorito. By that, you can assume that the coils will also be garbage. This will last a year at best.

If you have the means, invest in a good mattress, as most of us spend 1/3 of the day in one.

I bought a medium on Wayfair from this brand for more money. It sleeps more firm than expected so I bought a topper that is worth more than the bed. The instruction booklet says it's made by Novilla and has a 100 day sleep trial and 10 year warranty. Can't beat the price for a mattress in a box, even if it's more firm that it says.

What's a good example of a good mattress to invest in? I'm in no rush, I'd love to wait for a good deal. Visiting the mattress store just gave me the feeling of being ripped off. It's tough finding a good mattress to identify and wait for a deal on!

There's no one mattress line that's universally good for everyone. A lot of people who have wasted money on both cheap and expensive mattresses, only to be disappointed a couple of years later when they start sagging, eventually find good value in a latex mattress. The sound of latex in a mattress sounds weird to most, but latex is an all natural plant material that's made in the form of a dense sponge and has extremely durable properties.

Personally, I've had good experience with sleeponlatex. Their medium mattress tends to be on the firm side. My setup is their medium mattress with their 3" soft topper. That combination ends up being good for people who prefer a medium-firm (7/10) firmness.

Not sure if this is the right way to look at things. but the 14" is only 53lbs? Brooklyn Bedding Standard 14" also on Walmart is $70 more and weights 90lbs. For me i think id rather spend a little more for double the material. But depends on your needs
