You need to click a checkbox on the order cart to get it down to $15 each, FYI.

This keeps getting listed as a deal here and I'm glad this keeps getting called out. I can't believe Anker is willing to damage their reputation with this BS.

Is this the one that Wirecutter trashed in their review of surge protectors? Either way I'd never trust Anker SP's again.

Where do you see that on there? I did a little Googling, so clamping voltage is the amount of power it will let through, so I assume that means this thing does very little to protect what's plugged into it?

I am afraid I can't tell you anymore.

I just tried to go through the order process again and did not find it this time. Last night, it was on the cart or confirm order page and change the price from the $18 listed to the $15 of the deal, but I don't see it this time.

The clamping voltage is critical for surge protectors, and it's incredibly hard to find this information from Anker, if they even publish it at all. People claim to have contacted Anker and been told it's 1200V, which is awful. It should be around 300-400V, which is low enough to offer protection but still high enough to avoid triggering under normal conditions (the MOVs only have a certain lifespan when used).
