It's not a bad CPU for those still stuck on AM4 and can't snag a 5700x3d at a decent price....
Crazy to think a year ago you could get legit 5700x3d on Ali Express for like $115 - $130 all day long
With that said, 9600x is pretty comparable / slight uplift over 5800xt

Main issue is that a jump to 7000 / 9000 series isn't just a CPU change but also motherboard and RAM.

I looked it up and.. well there were a lot of differing opinions on the internet as far as whether the included wraith cooler is good enough to cool the CPU .. say if you're a PC gamer for example.
I've been happy with the performance of my $35 plus tax Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE cooler but you'd have to check the space/size in your PC case to make sure that it fits and I had to elevate one of the fans slightly above the heat sink on the CPU (so it's jutting slightly over the heatsink as compared to what I'm guessing is the ideal "in line 100 percent with the heatsink for maximum heat dispersal) to make room because my ram/memory sticks would otherwise have been in the same "space" as the fan if that makes sense (comes with two fans if I recall correctly bought it a while ago
I'm hoping wiser heads than mine will chime on on if the included wraith cooler is okay or if you need a better one

If you need more multithreaded performance you could go up to a 16 chip core like the 5900xt on AM4 or move up to one of the AM5 versions.
