This is a common design sold under many brands. E.g. look the pictures for the comparison products on the Walmart page. I have the Numax which looks like this one with different logos.
It works fine. I built a shed with it. I'm not a heavy user though.

I got an air hose reel from the master mechanic deal a couple weeks ago , packaging was a little dusty like it has been sitting in a warehouse but functionally I assume it's abut the same as what you find at lowes or HD for 70-90$. The deal I bought it at was around 30. I'm considering getting more just to use them for other stuff like a retractable sprayer hose for my UTV or one to replace a shitty water hose that doesn't need high flow.
