A few weeks ago I would've said buying a 4060 build for $1K was crazy, but that was before the Fanta Führer decided to go full MAGA on the global economy. In the not-so-distant future people will be reminiscing wistfully about the days when $1K bought an entire 4060 build, and not just a 4060.

So would it be better if I get the parts and make my own for around $1000 before the tariffs. My son wants a gaming PC and looking for best one under 1k
