Indeed it was more fun than I expected. It combines fun space combat with roguelike adventure where if you die you respawn with certain bonuses.
I'm not a pro with 3d combat but I had a blast.
The problem with the first one was, IMO anyway, that you could have entire runs where you didn't make enough to pay for a single upgrade and you can't carry cash over between runs.
Still worth $1. I still happily played 8-ish hours which for the price paid I'd consider that a very fair trade.
