Is it still worth it? I see an macbook air 15" M3 with 16G/256G is still available at my local store for $899. But also notice that the 13" M4 base model is only $50 more at $949. Which one should I go to? Any spec comparison and real daily uses experience advice? Thanks!

Bigger screen makes a difference for some creative works like coding, photo/video editing, etc.
OTOH some people prefer a smaller form factor for mobility. So depends on what your usage scenario is.
If you don't need a bigger screen go for the M4.

Apple knows what they are doing. Recent Apple deals only mean recession is coming, and we will see lower prices not super inflation.
