I just bought this last week at a higher price and I'm using it with the 39" LG OLED monitor. It is rock solid, and I'm very happy with it. Tension can be adjusted at multiple points to balance out the monitor and make it easier for you to reach your desired positions. I'm often moving the monitor up and down depending on what I have going on at my desk. At this price, it's a buy.

Dunno what's so special about the $120 "MSRP".
I got mine for $20 apiece, either HP brand or the same without the brand name, I forgot which on ebay; premium item.
Don't be intimidated by the size of the monitor. Most today's monitors have transformer separate, which makes them much lighter. Get a quality brand by all means, but do your calculations first. Granted, there has been a lot of inflation in the last few years, but IMHO an item like this above $30 makes you did not do you deal hunter homework. It's OK to buy at a ripoff price. Just don't call it a deal.

This brand is pretty good. I've used them for duel monitor stands at mulitple places.

I bought a similar one to this 13 days ago. Same seller: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DQ19YC9H

Mine looks stronger and better than this. It effortlessly supports my 34" ultrawide. I don't doubt it would hold a 49".

I had one of these on a 49" Samsung Odyssey and it performed amazingly well. You can adjust the arm tension at multiple points and it's just all around rock solid.

I have this exact same monitor arm. As the guy already stated before my post they sell this exact same thing under many different names and I know I paid less than that. Take a picture screenshot and then do a search with the picture to find the best price of the different brands it's sold under I don't know why it would be frequently return because it's awesome. It's solid as a rock like somebody else said and it works great.

I have another arm that's a bit smaller holding a 42" Hisense. It does the job, but struggles a bit to hold the weight. (~25lbs) This arm looks quite a bit more solid, so I'll give it a try. I needed to reposition that monitor anyway.

And yes, there are many of these selling as different names, but the reviews look quite good. Worst case, I send it back.

Thanks!

Purchased two weeks ago for my Samsung G9 and it works great. Lot of adjustment options.

How easy is it to move the monitor up and down on a regular basis? In my experience, the problem with these cheaper arms is that they are meant to be kept in place, and frequent adjustments will loosen the springs to the point where it will no longer hold up without additional screw tightening.

I move my 49" G9 with barely any effort. Once you have the tension set to your preference, it's no effort at all.

I am going to add to the 'Frequently returned item' stat because I purchased this just weeks ago for a higher price and will be repurchasing for the lower price. It works great for my 49" UW

Looking, but not seeing much. Do you have a link to a $20-$30 equivalent? (seeing some 19lb/75mm vesa ones for ~$35 )

I've got the HUANUO DS12 Dual Monitor Arm with USB Ports for 13" - 40" screens, and I've been very happy with it holding up my two 34" curved ultra wide monitors. It really opened up my desk and allows me to easily adjust my monitor layout on the fly, which I actually do quite a bit more than I imagined. It's very sturdy, pretty easy to set up, and at $40 I doubt I could've found anything better at that price. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if I needed it.
