I've had this monitor in the 43 in, 49in, and now 57 in models. It's a dream for multitaskers and not strictly for gaming. I will say to get the most out of this for productivity you are gonna want software like display fusion so you can virtually split the monitor into sections

A quick question, everyone. I'm not a gamer at all. How does this monitor support everyday Word, office, occasional movies, and Netflix? Or is this monitor specifically for gamers only?

Don't expect a good movie watching experience on an ultra wide monitor. However, it should be great for office work. You can use multiple apps / windows side by side and get things done easily

Yeah, that was a crazy deal. I should have jumped on it when I saw that deal pop up but waited too late.

What was the deal? I've seen the OLED 1800R screen for $600/650ish, that one?

This deal honestly is pretty insane. If you have use for the $300 Samsung credit, effectively $450 for this? Insane

Doesn't Samsung already have software for that built in?
Windows does. You just drag the window to the top center and then select where you want it to go.

Microsoft Windows 11 allows you to customize virtual sections via their Power Toys application which is available from the Microsoft store for free.

This doesn't work. I've tried numerous working credit cards and it keeps saying the cc is invalid. Anyone else?

Sub $500 (after chatting with a rep) for a 49" DQHD OLED was ridiculous. Mine had a stuck pixel in the center and it was kind of a PITA to rebuy/return, and chat with reps for the refund, but ultimately worth it.

Monitor is like having 3 27 inch side by side but in a uniform screen. Honestly it's probably better for productivity than for gaming because a lot of games don't even support it and you end up with black bars on the side or extreme stretched images. Looks amazing when it is supported.

If you're using a Windows PC, the monitor performs well for office tasks and multimedia. However, if you're using a Mac, it's important to check user feedback online regarding supported resolutions—text may appear blurry on some Mac models.

That is a very basic configuration and wouldn't recommend it on this size monitor. But as someone else mentioned, Microsoft PowerToys is free and has great customization options for window management.
