Close to $1K for a 27". Whats wrong with the way people spending their money nowadays. With this, I could get t least a 65" OLED and a little more. What am I missing?

Please show me your magical 240hz 65" OLED… Yeah, doesn't exist.

This is a gaming monitor meant to be used at a desk for high fps gaming. Makes no sense to compare it to a massive TV

I just came off a 49" ultrawide but have also gamed on a 27", 34" and 32". My sweet spot is 39" for the extra width over a 32" without feeling too short on a 34". I mostly play AAA titles and not a lot of fast pace games, and for me it's not too much screen for Warzone.

I agree. It's out of control.

In 1999 people were spending $1299 on a 15" flatscreen. This is much more responsible and practical. People have not become crazier with money over time.

You can get this for $899 if you chat with the rep and tell them you had a $50 off pre-order discount. They'll make a cart for you that applies the extra $50. I ended up getting an extra $100 off that way. Also, ask for a 5% off coupon code. Some of them might do it. Lastly, after receiving the monitor, chat with Samsung customer service and tell them you want to return it (and everything else in your order), they'll offer you a discount that always comes out to 10%. So you can potentially get this for $809 and save that $300 credit, which expires 9/31/25 I think. That's really ideal because the watch 8 comes out right around July for those using Samsung watches.
